WEB CONTROL PANEL

Your Web Control Panel enables you to access and adjust many areas of your website service, including setting up your E-Mail accounts, E-Mail Forwarding, E-Mail Autoresponders, Domain Forwarding, ordering additional space, bandwidth and much more. You can get to your Control Panel at:

Password: Supplied to you in your welcome letter/packet

Once your site is up and running and your balance is cleared, we will send you an guidebook to help you through the process.

E-MAIL ACCESS (Mail Enable)

Your account comes with the feature to access your e-mail from any computer with an internet connection! To get your e-mail from anywhere, log into:

mail.njmetronet.com

Use the UserName and Passwords that you (or your NJMN Representative) set up in your Control Panel.

TO SET UP YOUR E-MAIL SETTINGS in a program like Outlook or Oulook Express, please use the following:

Incomming Mail server: mail: yourdomain.com

Outgoing Mail Server: mail: yourdomain.com

You may have to adjust youe settings depending on requirements from your Internet Service Provider

SITE STATISTICS (AW Stats)

You can view your website statistics from any computer with an internet connection! To view your web stats, go to:

stats.yourdomain.com

User Name: yourdomain (NO http://www or extensions)

Password: Supplied to you in your welcome letter/packet

Your website statistics are a very important component of your online success, and they are updated once every day. NJ MetroNET will use your web statistics to help you make decisions about your website. If you have ordered web marketing services thorugh us, your Account Represenative will let you know the important thinks to look for when viewing your web stats.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

If you are going to be sending files up to the web server, you need software which is FTP capable. Some of you may want to purchase and use a program like Microsoft Front Page or Macromedia Dreamweaver to edit and upload your pages and images. You may also have wsFTP or CuteFTP on your local computers. Either way, we provide you with the information you need if you will be taking on this task:

Of course, if you have purchased EarthCMS or one of our site maintenace plans, you will not have to use this information.

While your website is being built and during the domain registration/Transfer process, you may be able to view your website at:

DOMAIN NAME SERVER (DNS)

NJ MetroNET Web services includes the manangement of your domain, including domian registration and annual renewals. If choose to manage and renew your domain on your own, please be sure the follwing Name Servers are set to poit to your new website.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EarthCMS) *Optional Feature*

If you choose to update your website on your own, then you may have been provided with a Content Management System (CMS). This provides you with the convenience of making changes and posting important information at any time you wish, from any computer with an internet connection! To access your CMS, please log into the system at:

Once you have logged in for the first time, it is strongly reccomended that you change your password, as this is only the default. Please refer to your EarthCMS Guidebook for help in using the CMS.

NJMN Account Online

Separate from your SIte Control Panel, your Account Online includes services such as a Help Desk for creating support tickets and maintenace service orders, finance information for annual payments, a knowledge base for frequently asked questions, domain and hosting information, news and alerts, and more. To acess your account, log onto:
